Pisa

Pisa has the atmosphere of a minor capital city wich has lost some of its hustle and bustle. The city is almost totally encircled by walls, its superb buildings reflect past splendor.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa, the belltower (58m/189ft high) of the cathedral is the symbol of the city.

Its famous angle (app. 5m/16feet off the vertical) has made it one of  the most popular tourist attractions in the world.

If you dare to climb the 294 steps you will experience the superb view of the square and the city spread out below.

The leaning tower and the cathedral are located in the prestigious square named SQUARE OF MIRACLES (Piazza dei Miracoli).
